-- Bullet Proof --
I bought it new in 2004 as an upgrade from a 500 HO Sportsman This is one really tough machine. I have rolled it three times and end for end rolled it after hitting an irrigation ditch at 48 mph. and it still starts first time every time. I'm on my third set of tires and fourth set of axles. The axles break because of hopping the machine over logs up to 20" diameter and flying the machine over water bars and kelly humps. I just finished a 107-mile ride in 4-1/2 hours with 11 stops and no problems at all through high mountain trails and old logging roads. For a heavy machine, it has great torque in both top and bottom ends and handles well in all terrain once you get used to the weight. I have three friends that all ride a 700 or 800 Polaris and none of us have ever had to walk because of a breakdown. Gas, oil, tires, belts, batteries, axles and a broken speedo and the plastic foot wells are on the replacement list for over 8,000 miles of abuse. I have beat up this machine and it still works great.
Upgrades/Accessories
I built aluminum foot wells out of road signs to get rid of the plastic stuff the factory puts on. 3,500 lb. warn winch on the rear to pull myself out of some really tight spots. Of course, an easy rider rifle rack.
