-- Love My 500 XC SP --
I love this sled. This is a good all around sled - great in trails with the extra 10 and adjustable fox shocks. It has all kinds of power for ditch banging and top speed if crazy for a 500. I run with all 600 and 700s and stay right with them. This sled is super fast. The only thing I suggest is to back the oil pump off a little and drop to 400 main jet. Polaris ships their sleds rich to avoid burning up the engines. Before I was only gettin 8-10 mpg. and about 70-80 miles per quart of oil. After changes, a quart is lasting about 100-110 miles and getting probably 12-14 mpg. Obviously it's way less if your always on the throttle. I would recommend this sled no matter what your riding style. It's an awesome sled - really.
Upgrades/Accessories
backed oil pump off and dropped to 400 mains, everything else stock until next year.
