She comes back and says 'we gotta get one of those'!!! Who?, What? Where did this come from? ...Wait, don't ask any more question or I'll 'blow it.' Yeah honey we've definitely got to get one?!???. I don't know a thing about the water but I bleed Kawasaki lime. Off to Kawasaki I go. I see the STX1100, and its grey or some awful color. That ain't gonna happen. I find a dealer with a 1200r about 100 miles away. I go, It's green, it's ours ..we'll need a trailer and some life jackets too. This is about the only watercraft I've ever ridden, but I have a KX500 and a Z1R so I kinda have a feel for 'things.' Anyway, and despite the fact that this thing says it was really only made for one rider, we have a blast on it. The beauty of this ski is if we see a wave at the last second we can pivot, nail the throttle and we're airborne. Nothing big, but a whole heck of a lot of fun. Power on demand, wow ...even my KX seems to have to 'spool-up' compared to this sometimes!! And it turns like a cat on shag carpet! BUT: It is a thIRsty beast ...bring plenty of gas. My wife also now knows what it's like to experience ARM-PUMP ..and she doesnt care until she can't hold on long enough to drive anymore AND: We wish it had at least a neutral, if not a reverse for landing or parking ..that's why comfort gets a 4-star. 'Catching' a jetski on the landing ramp isn't a big deal, but it could end badly one day. Anything break?: Just the pickup for the speedometer. Upgrades/Accessories STOCK ..No one has ever had to put a turbo or super charger on a two stroke to keep it fun.
