It is very strong, and I have put it through a lot of abuse. I once pulled a full hay wagon(weighing around 12,000) and had absolutly no problem doing it. It didn't even wear out the belt! And I'm even still using that belt and it is the original. The only complaint I have ever had with this quad was that it vibrates too much from the engine, otherwise I would never buy anything but a Polaris.
