Bought this quad-06/04 to race local races in the Rock Springs and Green River, Wy. The comfort isn't the best, but the performance is OUTSTANDING! This quad has literally been through the ringer and it still runs exactly the same as it did after it was fully broken in. The only problem I consistently have are battery draws. I am on my third battery after 5 years. Not real bad, but I wish it was better. The only modifications it needed were jetting, pipe and K&N flow. I was consistently placing in the top 3 every race because it's near impossible to beat this quad unless you have a 2-stroke Banshee. With the right paddles/tires, I constantly beat Banshees and Raptors at the Dunes too. I'm keeping this one and would like to purchase the latest 2010 model soon. This is my honest opinion... bikes can always be improved. Thanks YAMAHA for really revolutionizing the sport!
