-- First time dual sport bike owner --
I only have 240 miles so I cannot give an honest review as far as reliability goes. Nothing so far has broken but it’s pretty much still brand new. Performance - I would have to say I was expecting a little bit more with top end speed. It just sounds like the bike really needs one more gear. Take off isn't too bad but I wish it could roll on a wheelie. I know people say it can be done; I just haven't done it yet. Comfort - I was happy with the seat. It’s comfortable but it is also a Sergeant seat. The mirrors are great. I really feel comfortable with what I can see behind me; lane changing has never been this easy on a bike. Quality - I see a lot of plastic probably where I should see metal - for example, the skid plate and the white piece of plastic for the chain guide. But no real complaints because the bike is so new I haven't had anything break on it yet.

This is not a dirt bike so don't think you will be going to a super motocross on this thing. It is a good trail bike but it is a little heavy which is something I will have to get used to. But when I think right down about it, there is no perfect dual bike. I think that the KLR (for the price) is the closest to perfect you are going to get.

Upgrades/Accessories
Sergeant seat, kickstand (the base is a bolt on foot for soft sand parking).
