Yes, I live in Florida, but I sled in the U.P. of Michigan every winter. This is my 3rd Arctic Cat and it has been my favorite. I had a ZL500 and an EXT before that. My sled is EFI battery-less ignition and this is great. It starts on the 2nd pull every time. I ride with two buddies, and while they take me in a race, I can pull a comfortable lead in the twisty trails. I put Simmons skis on since the beginning and will take these to my next sled. Other than changing hyfax and belts every other year, the sled has not had a problem. I did put a new muffler on for the 2009 season though. The sled runs great on regular gas. I've kept it stored in an enclosed trailer and also a storage facility and my dealer checks it over every year before it hits the trail. My only complaint, and this is for all sleds, at my height and leg length, I feel like my butt is sitting lower than my knees. However, the new sleds with their new adjustable seating position makes this a moot point and is why I am going to a new 2009 Arctic Cat with the new seating for this 2010 season. No room or money to keep two sleds, so the ‘04 is up for sale. But I will be sad to see this great sled go. Someone will be very happy for sure.
Upgrades/Accessories
Simmons skis, 3 inch adjustable windshield extension, windshield bags, removable headlight covers (purple).
