-- Awesome little sled --
Let's see...where to start, first of all the sled is great on gas 20-22 mpg, 2 strokes can't compare. The performance is good for the size of the engine, it is very comparable with the 2 stroke 500's. But for all of you who are disappointed that it does not have the same power as the 600's or 700's give your head a shake, it's only 80 hp. Not a 120-130hp. I have had it overheat occasionly at +2 or +3 temps, but that's max throttle in 2 feet of snow. Slow it down, then it's ok. I have just closed off the tunnel with aluminum now to prevent the ice build-up. That is 1 flaw that I dislike. Yamaha could have closed off the tunnel. 2010's are now, finally. That's the only issue I have with this sled. It's a blast to ride, cheap on gas and cheap on the wallet. So for all you guys that are disappointed that's too bad because the Yamaha 4 strokes are the future, and the way to go if you want reliability. Safe riding and have fun!!!!
Upgrades/Accessories
Closed off tunnel, 1 gallon fuel can saddle bag, windshield bag, and I want to put on the wider skis yet..
