-- Have you ridden a Polaris lately? --
Wow this thing is awesome. I got the 850 and no regrets at all. I'm still breaking it in, but even with half throttle it spins the tires on the dirt. The only color they had was the camo, but it was too good a deal to pass up. I used to ride a King Quad and this Polaris is miles ahead of Suzuki in my opinion. Issues with the belts seem to be the idiots who are doing burnouts on pavement and or are just abusing the shit out of the machine. Use the power respectfully and the belt should last quite awhile. The belt has to break in as well so the manual says. Only 25kms so far but very impressed!!! I wasn't sure about the EPS, but I see now what everyone is talking about. Get the power steering even if it's the 550 model. The front ball joints are newer ones from Polaris. The very first 850's have the bad ball joints. Later in 2009 Polaris apparently started to put in stronger ones. This bike was ordered in Aug 09 and has the newer joints. Again very impressed with Polaris and it's 850. One hell of a bike!!! More to follow when I get more kms on her.
