With two seasons now under this sleds belt I can honestly say it is the best ride I have ever had. The sled is very very comfy, 400 mile day and had no soreness. The sled has never left me stranded, I did snap the torsion spring in the left rear and upgraded the springs to the HD spring set. The shocks are showing some fatigue but are still good for at least one more seson of 3500 miles (ryde fx). The gear case is out now and shows minimal wear but was leaking at the end of last season. The main harness did chaffe leading to the guage pod and that was an easy fix as well the fuel line from the pump to the filter is in a bad spot and did need replacement after 4000 miles. It is a good idea to remove and clean and reseal the gear case each year anyway. I change the oil twice a season and lube it regularly I also change the gear lube mid-season. The sled is going in the shop for the valve adjustment, this is recommended maintenance and will cost 400.00. Cost of ownership is really not that much less than a two stroker but the four stroke ride is so much better, the F chasis actually handles better with the front being heavier than the two strokes in the same chasis. I highly recommend this model to anyone that enjoys comfort and riding groomed trails, not for ditch banging but on rough trail it rides like a caddy. My wifes four stroke polaris touring does not compare for comfort. Bottom line no regrets and it will be my next sled for sure, BTW it has been improved in 08/09 and 2010 model years.
