2000-06 One-Piece Baseplate - All 2000-06 models require the stock rear mounting bracket be removed from the stock seat and bolted to the Mustang seat.1984-99 One-Piece Baseplate - The slotted Chrome rear tab on the back of the seat aligns with the threaded fender hole.
1984-06 Two-Piece Baseplates - Solos have two removable side brackets that align with the large threaded holes in all Softail frames. When the solo and rear seat are assembled, the side brackets on the solo can be removed and the seat mounted with just the single rear screw. All rear seats are connected t o the solo with two hidden screws.
If stock bracket is missing from 2000-06 Softail, use bracket #78037.
